Hansi Flick says Barça are in 'great form'

After the 4-1 win over Girona the blaugranes have now restored their three point lead at the top of the table in La Liga over nearest rivals Real Madrid. Coach Hansi Flick appeared more than content in his post match press conference at the Estadi Olímpic. "We are in great form at the moment and we are creating a lot of chances when we have the ball. What I take from today is our ability to react after the break. I am really happy for the win and the dominance we showed," said the German.  

20 games without defeat 

Barça have gone 20 games without defeat but for Flick that is not the important thing. For the blaugrana boss, his side's approach is the key: "The great thing about my team is that we always want to score goals and everyone likes to see that." 

On his 100th appearance as a blaugrana, there were words of praise form the coach for Eric Garcia and his performance against his former club. "He always does well, he trains well and is very professional. He can play is various positions and that is great for us," added Flick. 

Confidence is key according to Hansi Flick, even for the more experienced members of the squad. "Lewandowski is really important. I don't like to pick out individuals but he is special inside the box. It's basic that he feels that his coach has confidence in him. Not just him, but all the players and I am the one who has to do that."
